HIRIO vs. Zety
Guided editor with a trial subscription versus fixed-term passes.
The essentials at a glance
At Zety the editor is free but the download only comes as .txt; PDF requires the subscription, which continues every 4 weeks after a 14-day trial (per third-party sources €2.70, then €23.70). HIRIO exports the PDF for free without watermark and sells passes without renewal. Match score, company research, interview preparation and tracking we did not find at Zety.

Frequently asked questions
The editor yes, the download as PDF or Word no — the free version gives you a .txt file without formatting. Trustpilot reviews criticise that the cost only becomes visible at download.
Zety's pricing page could not be retrieved during our research. Third-party sources (OwlApply, 14 Sep 2026; GIGA 2023) list €2.70 for 14 days on the German site, then €23.70 every 4 weeks with automatic renewal, and €71.40 per year. Please check on zety.de before buying.
Zety guides you step by step through filling in. HIRIO has more parts — match score, cover letter, research, bundle — and a coach in the chat who helps with the CV.
